The building is part of the master-planned expansion to the Southern University Campus in New Orleans. The expansion includes student housing, recreational areas and academic facilities.
The new College of Business and Public Administration will provide offices, classrooms, computer labs, and a large lecture hall.
The focal point of the building is the sweeping facade of the two-story main lobby. Academic areas are equipped with state-of-the-art amenities such as electronic stock tickers and moveable partitions.
