BISHOP PARKER BUILDING - SPRINGHILL SUITES

The Schloss and Kahn Building is a four-story over partial basement Renaissance Revival style warehouse building constructed in 1907. When originally erected, the building was designed to serve as the primary headquarters and warehouse for the wholesale grocery firm of Schloss & Kahn. It occupies an irregularly-shaped triangular site on the southeast corner of Coosa and West Jefferson streets, located across from Riverwalk Stadium in downtown Montgomery. The irregular wedge shape of the building makes for unique design challenges within the structure. This historic building will house a new Marriott Springhill Suites, set to open in the fall of 2019.
