Campo's Director of Interior Design, Mary A. Gilmore, AIA, NCIDQ, will be a featured speaker at BDNY (Boutique Design New York) 2021, the leading trade fair for the hospitality industry’s boutique and lifestyle design community.
On Sunday, Nov 14, Mary will be joining fellow design partners of the J.B. Wilder building renovation project in downtown Louisville to present: "Lifestyle Case Study: The Grady Hotel, Louisville."
On Monday, Nov 15, Mary will be kicking off day two of the BD|NY conference with the panel "Boutique Design Power Players: Women Leaders in Hospitality Breakfast and Discussion." along with other leading figures of the hospitality industry.

Two Campo Architects' Projects are Honorees in the Gold Key Awards Shortlist 2021
Two Campo projects made the shortlist for the Gold Key Awards for Excellence in Hospitality Design, one of the industry's most prestigious design honors in new construction, conversion or renovation work.
The Grady Hotel in Louisville, KY is listed under the categories of “Best Lobby Upper Midscale” and “Best Hotel Upper Midscale”, congratulations to the interior designers of this project, Sims Patrick Studio.
Kinley Cincinnati Downtown, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel is included in the shortlist for the “Best Hotel Upper Midscale” category, congratulations to the interior designers of this historic renovation, Streetsense.
We are proud to have served as Architect of Record and Historic Tax Credit Consultants for both of these successful projects!

JW Marriott Savannah Plant Riverside District receives Excellence in Rehabilitation Award by The Georgia Trust of Historic Preservation
The Georgia Trust for Historic Presentation celebrated its 44th annual Preservation Awards ceremony in Macon. Twenty projects received awards for their preservation accomplishments in Georgia. The historic renovation of the Savannah Power Plant was among the seven winners of the Excellence in Rehabilitation category.

JW Marriott Savannah Plant Riverside District - Development of the Year Award (Full Service) 2020 WINNER!
Congratulations to the JW Marriott Savannah Plant Riverside District for WINNING the 2020 ALIS Development of the Year Award (Full Service)! The accolades for this award-winning project continue to roll in! The award category includes: branded and unbranded - luxury and upper upscale chain scales, and casinos. We certainly were in good company with competing finalists, the Montage Healdsburg in Healdsburg, California, and the One&Only Mandarina in Riviera Nayarit, Mexico.
Campo Architects served as Architect of Record and Historic Tax Credit Consultant for the project. The JW Marriott Savannah Power Plant Hotel opened last July and the JW Marriott Savannah Atlantic Hotel will be opening this fall.

AC Little Rock Downtown - Development of the Year Award (Select/Limited Service) 2020 FINALIST!
Congratulations to the AC Little Rock Downtown for being a FINALIST for the 2020 ALIS Development of the Year Award (Select/Limited Service)! This award category includes branded and unbranded - upscale, upper midscale, midscale, and economy chain scales.
The Hyatt House & Hyatt Place in Chicago, Illinois, was named winner of the category and the AC Hotel Fort Worth Downtown in Fort Worth, Texas was also selected as a finalist.

Our team is back in the office and site visits have returned! After more than a year of working fully remotely, the Campo Architecture & Interior Design office opens its doors again for the team members, clients, and colleges.
