SERGIO GONZALEZ

Sergio, originally from Mendoza, Argentina, studied at the University of Mendoza in Argentina and at the Washington-Alexandria Architecture Center in the United States. He moved to New Orleans in 2012 and became member of the Campo team in 2015. His project experience includes residential, hotels, wineries, and legacy projects.

Sergio has not once used his car to get to work since moving to New Orleans. He is a volunteer member on the board of NOMA (National Organization of Minority Architects) Louisiana and serves as the organization’s Communications Director. He and his wife bought a house in Mid City and they are busy fixing it up. They have a rescue dog named Sully and a baby girl named Amelia.

Sergio’s family in Argentina owns a pasta factory, where he worked every weekend from the age of 13 until he moved to the US at age 24. Now that he isn’t making pasta on the weekends, he likes to picnic in City Park with his family, grill, play soccer, read comic books, and travel.
