Originally from a small town called Welcome, North Carolina, Rebecca moved to New Orleans in the summer of 2017 after living in Asheville, NC and Brooklyn, NY. Before exploring her interests in design, she was a high school teacher, school administrator, and ballet dancer. Her Interior Design thesis was an investigation into how soft construction can help and support students who experience PTSD to respond to their school environment in healthier and more positive ways.

When she’s not hanging out with her Border Collie /Jack Russell, Sattva, she enjoys practicing yoga, weaving, embroidering, and swimming. As a side project she is remodeling her 1912 house near Audubon Park and building an addition for her mother in her backyard.
