Amy grew up in rural Franklinton, Louisiana with four brothers. After graduating from Louisiana Tech University, Amy spent two years in Alexandria, LA, where she cultivated her skill for educational design. After marrying her husband Ricky Finklea, Amy moved to New Orleans to be closer to family.
Amy joined Campo Architects as an Intern Architect in 2008. Since then, she has worked her way up to managing projects.
Amy shares the firm’s goal of preserving culture and history through the built environment while embracing change. Her ability to balance city, client, and code concerns and her unwavering dedication to deadlines have led to numerous successful projects for Campo and our Clients.
When she is not at the office, Amy can be found pursuing her interests in painting and photography or spending time with her family, friends, and her adorable dog Sadie.
