JOINT FORCE HEADQUARTERS

This project included the construction of a new Adjutant General's Office (AGO), a new Dining Facility (DFAC) and a new Joint Force Headquarters (JFHQ) all located within the historic Jackson Barracks campus.

All buildings were composed of steel frame construction with a brick veneer exterior. The JFHQ included components such as administrative offices, conference rooms, and recreation areas. The project was part of a half billion dollar effort by LAARNG to replace the facilities destroyed during Hurricane Katrina.

Campo Architects coordinated all blast engineering and progressive collapse requirements to meet the strict constraints of the Department of Defense's Antiterrorism Force Protection Standards.
