INTERIOR DESIGNER - NEW ORLEANS, LA

John T. Campo & Associates, Inc. (Campo Architects) is seeking an Interior Designer to join the collaborative team in our New Orleans office:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare floor plans, interior elevations, details, and presentation materials in collaboration with the Project Architect
  • Prepare space plans, furniture layouts, lighting layouts, and color layouts
  • Select and specify furniture, upholstery, millwork, lighting, and interior finishes
  • Produce FF&E budgets and estimates
  • Produce FF&E specifications/control book
  • Coordinate with furniture vendors for procurement
  • Maintain positive client relationships
  • Attend meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Interior Design Licensure (NCIDQ) is desirable but not required
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of professional experience in Interior Design or Architecture
  • Demonstrated hospitality experience (Marriott specific is a plus)
  • Working knowledge of Revit and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Ability to effectively communicate within a project team
  • Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT - NEW ORLEANS, LA

John T. Campo & Associates, Inc. (Campo Architects) is seeking an Administrative Assistant for our New Orleans office. We are looking for someone who takes initiative and responsibility to represent the Company. ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Plan meetings and take detailed meeting minutes
  • Order office supplies and research new suppliers
  • Maintain contact lists
  • Coordinate travel arrangements
  • Organize large amounts of information into a coherent, meaningful format in a timely manner
  • Organize and schedule events such as webinars, meetings, and training sessions
  • Assist in the preparation of contracts and proposals under the supervision of a Project Manager
  • Prioritize tasks with little supervision
  • Work in a fast paced environment
  • Perform other duties assigned by supervisor as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma; additional qualification as an Administrative Assistant or Secretary will be a plus
  • Excellent customer service abilities, including strong communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work independently

GENERAL LEVEL OF COMPUTER SKILLS INCLUDING:

  • Microsoft Office (primarily Outlook, Word, and Excel, occasionally PowerPoint)
